Reviews
In this second sequel to First Blood, John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) leaves a Buddhist monastery when he finds that his former Green Beret leader has been captured by Russians and is being held in Afghanistan. At first he's hesitant to return to his macho manner, but before he's barely past the Afghanistan border he's back to ballistics with a vengeance. He single-handedly annihilates scores of commies in his quest to free his friend and former commander. At the time it was filmed (1988), it was said to be the costliest film to date ($63 million), which has to make a some souls wonder: "Why?"
